Ever-Changing-Facade is dynamic video sculpture that explores the subtleties of a physical and virtual identity as a femme Iranian immigrant residing in the US. The piece is a modular 5x5x5 ft sculpture with more than 20 videos composited and project mapped onto its surface. Using humor as a storytelling device, the videos are a conglomerate of personal and collective memories that are combined or layered onto visual content that use general social media tropes of image making such as selfies, food snaps, gifs, etc.

Through the juxtaposition of different visual elements and the incorporation of social media aesthetics, Ever-Changing-Facade seems to create a commentary on the complexities of contemporary identity, particularly within the context of cultural transitions and immigration. The modular structure and dynamic video projections suggest a fluidity and adaptability, mirroring the ever-changing nature of personal identity in both physical and virtual realms.
